Distribution of clothes at Shyampur of Howrah district on the occasion of Durga puja

In collaboration with Nimta Pranabananda Vidyarthi Bhavan run by Bharat Sevashram Sangh, on the occasion of Durga Puja in Sharadia, distributed sarees and dhoti to about 250 poor people in Baradabag remote village of Shyampur area of Howrah district.

Former professor of Shyampur Siddheswari University Adhir Das, Indian Army was present in the said event. Principal Shri Dilip Maiti, Principal of Lenin Vidyapeeth and distinguished persons.

Vidyarthi Bhavan Secretary Swami Bhaskaranandji Maharaj said Guru Maharaj's words "Sebai Sangher Dharma O Sebai Sangher Karma" Remember the words of Guru Maharaj that the students are doing service work on behalf of Vidyarthi Bhavan today, may Guru Maharaj bless those people. This is a prayer to Guru Maharaj. Maharaj said that we can do such service work in the future if we have social minded people like you.

In this village, we, the students, have only gone to serve, and we have received simple love, hospitality, and hospitality from all the people of the same village.

Yugacharya Swami Pranavananda (29 January 1896 – 8 February 1941) The advent of His Holiness, Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavananda ji Maharaj was in 1896, in the village Bajitpur (Bangladesh) of undivided India. ‘BINOD’, as was called in his childhood days, was often found to be immersed in serious thoughts that culminated into deep meditation, aimed at ‘Self Emancipation’ and ‘Upliftment of Human Beings’, through spiritual development and selfless Services. As a brahmachari, he spent countless hours in meditation, spiritual trances and Seva (service to people). He was born on 29 January 1896, the auspicious day of Maghi Purnima (16th Magha, 1302), in Bajitpur, a village in Faridpur District in undivided India (presently in Bangladesh). His parents Vishnu Charan Bhuia and Saradadevi were very pious and blessed by Lord Shiva to have a son for the mitigation of human suffering and universal emancipation.
